The Xavier University Musketeers Women’s Volleyball Camp is a high-level, physically demanding, 3-day training program that will run from July 7 until July 9. It is open to all female volleyball players in grade 7 up to grade 12. In addition, this training program will take place at the Cintas Center on the Xavier University campus. It is good to note that this camp is for commuter campers only. Moreover, the training program includes strength and nutrition conditioning discussion and a college recruiting processes discussion. All the instructions will be under the supervision of the Xavier University women’s volleyball coaching staff.
Xavier University, formerly St. Xavier College, is a private, nonprofit, coeducational, research university in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is the 6th oldest Catholic university in the nation. It is also a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities and the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities. Additionally, Xavier University is 4th in the Regional Universities Midwest, 2017 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. It is also 133rd in the Business Programs rankings. Currently, the university is accommodating around 4,600 undergraduate students and around 2,200 postgraduate students. Correspondingly, it has a 12:1 student to faculty ratio. The university has 16 intercollegiate varsity teams. These teams are playing in the Big East Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I. They are known as the Musketeers. Xavier blue, silver, and white are their identity colors.
Xavier University Musketeers Women’s Volleyball Camp Organizers
Christy Pfeffenberger, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, is the head coach of the Xavier University Musketeers women’s volleyball team. Coach Pfeffenberger is a former college standout. In fact, she is the 2004 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year awardee. Then, the Musketeers women’s volleyball associate head coach is Ed Tolentino. Amber Hildebrandt is the assistant coach and Andy Riesenberg is the volunteer assistant coach. Natalie Browske is the team’s student manager. And finally, Nick Hogan is the Musketeers technical advisor.
