Whitworth University will be holding it annual Whitworth University Pirates Women’s Volleyball Camp from August 15 to August 17. It is inviting all female volleyball players in grade 7 up to grade 12. This event is a three-hour program that will run from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Whitworth University Fieldhouse. Additionally, spearheading this training camp is the Whitworth University women’s volleyball coaching staff. This camp emphasizes refining and developing the participant’s volleyball fundamental techniques. It will also include basic skills drills and team play. Overall, the experience will be fun and challenging.
Whitworth University, formerly Whitworth College, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Spokane, Washington. Its name is in honor of George Frederick Whitworth, a Presbyterian missionary, and its founder. Correspondingly, Whitworth University is an affiliation of the Presbyterian Church. Whitworth University Pirates Women’s Volleyball Camp Organizers
Head Coach Kati Bodecker is leading the Whitworth University Pirates women’s volleyball team. The 2017 season is her fourth year at the helm of the university’s volleyball program. Coach Kati Bodecker is the 2012 Idaho Co-Coach of the Year and the 2017 league Coach of the Year. Ultimately, under her guidance, the Pirates women’s volleyball has already three Northwest Conference, a feat done consecutively. Then, the Pirates women’s volleyball assistant coach is Jamie Pancho. He is now in his fifth year with the coaching staff. Finally, Brenna Bruil is the team graduate assistant coach.
