Westmont College Women’s Volleyball Warriors Camp

The Westmont College Women’s Volleyball Warriors Camp will give a feel of how it is like to be a college student-athlete. It is a three-day high-level volleyball training program that will run from the 14th of July until the 16th of July. It is both an overnight and day camp that is open to all girls in grade 9 up to grade 12. Additionally, this training program focuses on honing all six volleyball skills. It includes different skills stations and competitive scrimmages. Furthermore, this event provides a valuable opportunity to work with the Westmont College women’s volleyball coaching staff and current players. Its venue is Murchison Gymnasium on the Westmont College campus.

Westmont College, originally Bible Missionary Institute, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in  Santa Barbara, California. It is an affiliation of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Westmont College is also part of the California State Board of Education and the Christian College Consortium. Presently, the academic institution is serving around 1,300 undergraduate students. 39 percent of this undergraduate student population are males and 61 percent are females. This undergraduate student population is also through a selective enrollment acceptance rate of 83 percent. Moreover, Westmont College is a top-performing institution. In fact, it is 96th in National Liberal Arts Colleges, 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. In athletics, Westmont College is competing in the Golden State Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics as the Warriors.
