The University of Nebraska Omaha Women’s Volleyball Advanced Camp gears toward high school female volleyball players who are looking to play at the collegiate level. All girls in grade 10 up to grade 12 are eligible to join in this training program. It is going to be on July 19 to 20 at the leading-edge Sapp Fieldhouse on the University of Nebraska Omaha campus. Additionally, the participants will be able to experience training and competing like a University of Nebraska Omaha women’s volleyball athlete. It will provide high-level skill set and knowledge of the game improvement sessions. Furthermore, the training camp will accommodate both commuter and overnight campers.

The head coach of the University of Nebraska Omaha women’s volleyball team is Rose Shire, a native of El Paso, Texas. She is the 1996 AVCA National Coach of the Year, North Central Region Coach of the Year, and the NCC Co-Coach of the Year. Additionally, she is also the 1996 Omaha Sportscaster’s Association’s Sportswoman of the Year, and the Omaha World-Herald State College Coach of the Year. Then, the Mavericks women’s volleyball assistant coaches are Elena Pietro and Micah Rhodes. Coach Pietro is at the same time the recruiting coordinator.
