The University of Arkansas Women’s Volleyball College Experience Camp will immerse the participants in the college-level training and competition environment. It is both an overnight and commuter camp that will run from the 16th of July to the 18th of July. It will take place at the University of Arkansas’ state-of-the-art Barnhill Arena. In addition, this high-level program is for girls in the 7th up to the 12th-grade. The design of the camp will expose the participants to the daily demands and work ethics of a successful college athlete. Moreover, the program is also an opportunity to test skills against other college volleyball prospects.
The University of Arkansas, formerly Arkansas Industrial University, is a public, coeducational, land-grant, space-grant university in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is the flagship and the largest university of the University of Arkansas System. Furthermore, the University of Arkansas as a whole has an accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission. University of Arkansas Women’s Volleyball College Experience Camp Organizers
Leading the University of Arkansas Razorbacks women’s volleyball team is Head Coach Jason Watson, a native of Homebush, Australia. He is the 2005 Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Additionally, Coach Jason Watson is a bachelor’s degree in physical education and sports business management graduate from Brigham Young University. Then, the Razorback women’s volleyball associate head coach is Jon Newman-Gonchar. Megan Wargo-Kearney is the team assistant coach. She is at the same time the recruiting coordinator. Finally, Andy Rynd is the volunteer assistant coach.
