The Taylor University Women’s Volleyball Summer Camp will cover sessions that will develop fundamental skills and at the same time taking the player’s abilities to the next level. This program includes competitive sessions and scrimmages. It is a 4-day training program that will run from June 21 through June 24. It is open to all girls in grade 4 up to grade 12. Additionally, this event will take place on the Taylor University campus. It aims to provide one-on-one camper to staff interaction, thus, available spots are limited. Furthermore, the camp is open to both residential and commuter registrants.
Taylor University, originally Fort Wayne Female College, is a private, coeducational, interdenominational, Christian college in Upland, Indiana. It is a member of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities as well as the Christian College Consortium. Currently, the university has an undergraduate student population of 1,910. It also has a postgraduate student population of 108. This is with an acceptance rate of 80 percent. The student to faculty ratio is 13:1. The university is an institution of academic excellence. In fact, it is 2nd in Regional Colleges Midwest of the 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 1st in Best Undergraduate Teaching rankings and 13th in the Best Value Schools rankings. Taylor University has 16 college sports teams participating in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Crossroads League. The athletics nickname is Trojans.
Taylor University Women’s Volleyball Summer Camp Organizers
Leading the Taylor University Trojans women’s volleyball team is Head Coach Erin Luthy. She is now in her 2nd year at the helm of the women’s volleyball program. Coach Erin Luthy is the former Eastbrook High School volleyball head coach. In addition, Coach Luthy is a Taylor University alumni with a master’s degree in counseling. Her volleyball playing career includes a number of all-league honors. Then, the Trojans women’s volleyball assistant coach is Chandra Hepler. She is a former Warsaw Community High School junior volleyball coach.
