The Stetson University Women’s Volleyball College Prep Camp is a fast-paced, high-level training program for female volleyball players with a serious interest in playing at the collegiate level. Its venue is the leading-edge volleyball facility, Hollis Center which is on the Stetson University campus. Additionally, this program will run from 4:00 PM on July 9 until 11:00 AM on July 11. It is going to accommodate both residential and commuter campers. Moreover, this training program includes a question and answer session with the Stetson University women’s volleyball coaching staff and current players.
Stetson University, formerly DeLand Academy, is a private, nonprofit university. Its founder is New York philanthropist Henry Addison DeLand. The school has a 175-acre campus in DeLand, Florida. The DeLand campus is on the National Register of Historic Places. Currently, Stetson has a total undergraduate enrollment of 3,089. The gender distribution is 42 percent male students and 58 percent female students. There are more than 60 majors and minors offered as well as Master’s degree and dual degree programs. Stetson has 195 full-time faculty teaching undergraduate courses. 95% of those faculty are holding Ph.D. or equal degrees. Stetson University Women’s Volleyball College Prep Camp Organizers
The head coach of the Stetson University Hatters women’s volleyball team is Yang Deng, a native of Chang Zhou, China. Her illustrious volleyball playing career includes a NAIA National Player of the Year and a NAIA national tournament Most Valuable Player. In addition, Coach Yang Deng is currently finishing her master’s degree in education and school counseling psychology at the University of Missouri. Then, the Hatters women’s volleyball assistant coach is Aaron King, a Western Kentucky University alumnus. He is in his first year with the Hatters coaching staff.
