The Sam Houston State University Women’s Volleyball Overnight Camp is a four-day high-level training program that will run from 16th of July until the 19th of July. It is for all and any girls 15 years old and above. The program is going to take place at the Johnson Coliseum and the Sam Houston State University Rec Center. Furthermore, this event intends to provide an intimate training experience, thus available slots are limited. It intends at improving the participant’s volleyball fundamental skills and tactical understanding. In addition, the training program will be under the direction of the Sam Houston State University women’s volleyball coaching staff. Registration is only until the 7th of July.

Brenda Gray, a Sam Houston State University alumna, is the head coach of the Bearkats women’s volleyball team. She is a three-time Southland Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Gray is also the 1984 Gulf Star Conference Coach of the Year. Then, the Sam Houston Bearkats assistant coach is Charlie Olson, an alumnus of the California State University, Chico. Finally, Tayler Gray is the volunteer assistant coach.
