The Sacred Heart University Women’s Volleyball Nike Advanced Camp is open to all and any 14 to 18 years old girls who are serious about playing at the collegiate level. It is a 4-day intense and challenging but fun and rewarding training program that will run from August 3 until August 6. Furthermore, this volleyball camp is looking to enhance blocking, hitting, passing, setting, and serving skills through high-level techniques. It will improve the participant’s consistency in both the offensive and defensive aspects of the game. Additionally, the player’s will also learn how to read offensive and defensive system sequences. This training program will take place at the top-notch William H. Pitt Center.

The head coach of the Pioneers women’s volleyball team is Rob Machan. The 2017-2018 season will be his 10th year at the helm of the university’s women’s volleyball program. Under his leadership, the Pioneers has already 2 Northeast Conference Championships. In addition, Coach Rob Machan is the 2009 and the 2010 Northeast Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Then, SHU’s women’s volleyball associate head coach is Kim Roleder. She is the team’s former assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Coach Kim Roleder is also a former Sacred Heart volleyball player standout.
