Purdue University Boilermakers Women’s Volleyball Elite Camp

The Purdue University Boilermakers Women’s Volleyball Elite Camp gears at developing the participants into a complete volleyball player. It will focus on improving hitting, setting, passing, blocking, defending, and attacking skills. Furthermore, this elite volleyball camp is for all girls in grade 8 up to grade 12. It is open to both residential and commuter campers. The program will run from July 6 until July 8. It will transpire at the Purdue University campus. In addition, drop-off for commuter campers will be at Holloway Gymnasium while drop-off for residential campers will be at Mackey Atrium.

Purdue University is a public, coeducational, sea-grant, space-grant, and land-grant university in West Lafayette, Indiana. It is the flagship university of the Purdue University systems. It is also a member of the Association of American Universities and the Big Ten Academic Alliance. Moreover, Purdue University is 60th in the National Universities, 2017 edition of Best Colleges rankings and 13th in the Best Undergraduate Teaching rankings. Purdue University is also 127th in Forbes National Universities rankings. Currently, the university has a total of around 29,500 students with 58 percent male and 42 percent female students gender distribution. Its identity colors are black and old gold. The university has 17 collegiate varsity teams. They are known as the Boilermakers. The Boilermakers are competing in the Big 10 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1.

 

Purdue University Boilermakers Women’s Volleyball Elite Camp Organizers

Dave Shondell is the head coach of the Purdue University Boilermakers women’s volleyball team since February of 2013. Under his leadership, the Boilermakers women’s volleyball has already 11 NCAA Tournament appearances. Additionally, Coach Dave Shondell is the 2011 Big Ten and Mideast Region Coach of the Year awardee. The women’s volleyball associate head coach is John Shondell. He is the 2001 Class 4A Indiana State Coach of the Year. He is also a 4-time North Central Conference Coach of the Year. Then, the team’s assistant coach Kathy Jewell and Levi Gibson is the volunteer assistant coach. And finally, Stephanie Harpenau is the supervisor of operations.
