The Pacific Lutheran University Women’s Volleyball Lutes Camp will be focusing on the overall improvement of the attendee’s volleyball skills. This training program is a four-day event that will run from the 25th of June until the 28th. The venue is state-of-the-art Olson Gymnasium on the Pacific Lutheran University campus. Additionally, this training program is available to all girls in the 5th up to the 12th grade. It will cover both the technical and tactical areas if the volleyball game. Furthermore, the event is not a residential camp so participants need to secure their own accommodation.
The Pacific Lutheran University, formerly Pacific Lutheran College, is a private, coeducational university. Its campus is in Parkland, Washington. Currently, the university accommodates around 3,100 undergraduate students. Pacific Lutheran University is also one of the top-performing academic institutions of the nation. As a matter of fact, the university is 15th in the Regional Universities West of the 2017 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. It is 6th in the Best Value Schools rankings and 326th in Business Programs rankings. In sports, the Pacific Lutheran University has 19 intercollegiate athletic teams. These athletic teams are known as the Lutes. They are campaigning in the Northwest Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III. Black and gold are their identity colors. For a fun fact, the university athletics mascot’s name is Knight.

Leading the Pacific Lutheran University Lutes women’s volleyball team is Head Coach Kevin Aoki, a native of Hawai’i. Coach Aoki is an eighth-time Northwest Conference Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a three-time AVCA West Region Coach of the Year. Ultimately, under Coach Aoki’s guidance, the Lutes women’s volleyball team has already nine Northwest Conference championships. Then, helping Coach Aoki are assistant coaches Tim Templin and Becca Holtgeerts. Both assistant coaches are Pacific Lutheran University alumni.
