The New York University Women’s Volleyball Elite Academy Day Camp is inviting all girls entering 8th grade to 1st year of College to join the Violet’s Elite Academy Day Camp. The camp is set to challenge participants and help advance their techniques in volleyball. They will go through game-like drills and scrimmages similar to Violets’ training program. Of course, it will cover individual skills training sessions to improve the overall volleyball competence of the participants. Furthermore, the participants will have the chance to train with NYU Coaches and visit the NYU campus. The one-day camp will start at 9:15 AM on July 21 at 404 Lafayette – NYU Fitness. Skills and drills will take place at the NYU Brooklyn Athletic Facility.

Leading the New York University women’s volleyball team is acting Head Coach Karl France, a Brooklyn, New York native who is now in his 3rd year with the university’s coaching staff. Additionally, Coach France is the 2000 Northeastern Collegiate Volleyball Association Coach of the Year awardee. Then, the team’s new assistant coach is Kristin Keegan. She is a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education citizenship and history graduate from the University of Scranton.
