Missouri State University Women’s Volleyball Lady Bears Clinics

The Missouri State University Women’s Volleyball Lady Bears Clinics is for all high school girls in grade 8 up to grade 12. It comprises six clinics that are set on February 7, February  14, February 21, February 28, March 7, and March 21. It will take place at the leading-edge Hammons Student Center on the Missouri State University campus. In addition, each clinic schedule focuses on serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and floor competition respectively. The training program is set to start at 7:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM. Furthermore, the clinics will be under the supervision of the Missouri State University women’s volleyball coaching staff.

Missouri State University, formerly Southwest Missouri State University, is public, coeducational, space-grant university in Springfield, Missouri. It is part of the Missouri State University System. The university is also an affiliation of the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. Moreover, Missouri State University is the second largest university in the state of Missouri. It is currently serving around 26,000 students. This is through a selective enrollment acceptance rate of 86 percent. Missouri State University is also one of the region’s top performing universities. In fact, it is 106th in Regional Universities Midwest, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 31st in Top Public Schools and 290th in the Business Programs rankings. Additionally, the Missouri State University athletics is participating in the Missouri Valley Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I as the Bears and Lady Bears.

 

Missouri State University Women’s Volleyball Lady Bears Clinics Organizers

Head Coach Melissa Stokes, a native of El Cajon, California, is leading the Missouri State University Lady Bears volleyball team. She is the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference and American Volleyball Coaches Association Midwest Region Coach of the Year. Then, the team’s assistant coach is Jake Barreau. Coach Jake Barreau is the 2010 and 2011 Big Ten Men’s Volleyball Association Defensive Player of the Year. Karen Rivatto is the director of operations. Finally, Adam Rollman is the volunteer assistant coach.
