The Mississippi College Choctaws Women’s Volleyball Camp will focus on developing and refining serving techniques. It will also incorporate in-game drill that will improve the player’s overall skills. Furthermore, all instructions will be from the Mississippi College women’s volleyball coaching staff. This volleyball camp will take place at the Mississippi College’s state-of-the-art A.E. Wood Coliseum. It will be from the 10th of July until the 12th of July. Additionally, this training program is inviting all female volleyball players in the 9th grade through 12th grade. The daily schedule is set to start at 8 o’clock in the morning and end at 12 noon.
Mississippi College is a private, coeducational, Christian university in Clinton, Mississippi. It is the state of Mississippi’s oldest college and largest private university. Overall, the institution has an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. In addition, Mississippi College is part of the Mississippi Baptist Convention. It is also a member of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. Currently, the university’s total undergraduate student population is around 3,100. 37 percent of this undergraduate student population are males and 53 percent are females. The Mississippi College’s student to faculty ratio is 15:1. Moreover, Mississippi College features 16 intercollegiate teams in the Gulf South Conference of the NCAA Division II. The athletes’ nickname is Choctaws and their official colors are blue and gold.
Mississippi College Choctaws Women’s Volleyball Camp Organizers
Holly Tupper, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is the interim head coach of the Mississippi College Lady Choctaws women’s volleyball team. She is a Mississippi College alumna with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. In addition, Coach Tupper is also a former Lady Choctaw volleyball standout. Then, the team’s assistant coach is Gabe Rivera, a native of Cupey Bajo, Puerto Rico. He is a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration graduate from Lees McRae College. Caitlin Brown is the Lady Choctaws athletic trainer. Finally, Kyle Lewis is the Assistant Sports Information Director.
