The George Washington University Women’s Volleyball Camp is a two-day training program for girls 13 to 18 years old. It will be on the 16th and 17th of June at the George Washington University campus. Furthermore, this training program will be focusing on the overall skill development of its participants. It will also provide further knowledge regarding the tactical facets of the game. It will be a fun but challenging learning experience. In addition, this program will be under the supervision of the George Washington University women’s volleyball coaching staff.
George Washington University, originally Columbian College, is a public, coeducational, research university which is in Washington DC. It is the 2nd oldest university in the District of Columbia. Additionally, George Washington University is a member of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area. The university’s latest undergraduate students population is 11,244. It has 3 campuses which are the Foggy Bottom Campus, the Mount Vernon Campus, and the Virginia Science and Technology Campus. It is 56th in the U.S. News and World Report national universities rankings, 2017 edition. Also, the university is 103rd in the Forbes national rankings. Moreover, George Washington University has 26 athletics teams competing in the Atlantic 10 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I. They are known as the Colonials. Buff and blue are the university’s official color.
George Washington University Women’s Volleyball Camp Organizers
The new head coach of the George Washington University Colonials women’s volleyball team is Sarah Bernson. She is a bachelor’s degree in English and Art graduate from the St. Mary’s College. She is the former American University women’s assistant volleyball coach. Then, the Colonials women’s volleyball associate head coach is Nicki Holmes. Coach Holmes is at the same time the head coach of the USAF Women’s National Team. Finally, completing the coaching staff is assistant coach Nicole Buchholz, a native of Ashburn, Virginia. She is a former four-time All-Northeast 10 Conference Player awardee.
