The Covenant College Women’s Volleyball Exposure Camp is going to be a high-level training program for high school girls in the graduating classes 2018, 2019, and 2020. It will be on the 27th of January at the Covenant College campus. In addition, this program will run from 9 o’clock in the morning until 3 o’clock in the afternoon. This exposure camp will immerse the participants in the collegiate level training and competition environment. Moreover, registration is only until the 20th of January. There are only 30 spots available, thus, registration is on a first come first serve basis.
Covenant College is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. It is an affiliation of the Presbyterian Church in America. Covenant College is also part of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and the Covenant Theological Seminary. Additionally, it has an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Currently, Covenant College has around 1,000 undergraduate students. The college’s undergraduate student population has a 45 percent male and 55 percent female students gender distribution. Its student to faculty ratio is 13:1. Furthermore, in the 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings, Covenant College is 168th in National Liberal Arts Colleges. In athletics, Covenant College is competing in the USA South Athletic Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III as the Scots. Their official colors are blue and white.
Covenant College Women’s Volleyball Exposure Camp Organizers
Joanna Ehman is the head coach of the Covenant College Scots women’s volleyball team. He is now in his fifth year at the helm of the college’s women’s volleyball program. Coach Joanna Ehman is the 2015 USA South Athletic Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Then, the team’s assistant coaches are Kristy Newman and Stephanie Wharton. Coach Newman is a bachelors degree in business management graduate from Maryville College. Meanwhile, Coach Wharton is a Covenant College alumni with a bachelors degree in English.
