Bates College will be holding its Bates College Women’s Volleyball High School Clinic on August 13 until August 15. This training program consists three sessions. The hitting session on Day 1, the passing session on Day 2, and the serving and team drills session on Day 3. The training program is open to all high school girls in all skill levels. In addition, this high school volleyball clinic will take place at the top-notch Alumni Gym on Bates College campus. Overseeing the training camp is the Bates College women’s volleyball coaching staff and its current players.
Bates College, or the President and Trustees of Bates College, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college in Lewiston, Maine. It is also 35th in the 2017 Forbes Magazine’s List of America’s Best Colleges. In sports, the college features collegiate athletics teams in the New England Small College Athletic Conference of the NCAA Division III. They are the Bobcats.
Bates College Women’s Volleyball High School Clinic Organizers
The head coach Bates College Bobcats women’s volleyball team is Melissa DeRan. Coach Melissa DeRan is in charge of the college’s women’s volleyball program since February of 2015. She is the former head coach of the Union College women’s volleyball. She is also a former assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Then, the Bobcats women’s volleyball assistant coaches are Natalee Gruse and Rob Thompson who are in their 2nd and 4th season with the team respectively.
