The James Madison University Women’s Volleyball Advanced Camp is inviting all 10 to 18 years old female volleyball players with the motivation to play at the college level. It is a 4-day high-level training program that will run from the 7th of July until the 10th of July. It is also an opportunity to train and play on a Godwin’s Taraflex, the world’s best volleyball court flooring. In addition, this volleyball camp will provide the participants an in-depth understanding of both the defensive and offensive systems of the game. Players will also receive a valuable assessment from the James Madison’s women’s volleyball coaching staff.
James Madison University is a public, coeducational university in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Its former name is Madison College. It is offering 133 fields of study including 77 undergraduate and 46 master’s degrees. The university has an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Furthermore, James Madison University is 7th in Regional Universities South, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 55th in the Best Value Schools rankings. Currently, its undergraduate student population is around 19,200. The student to faculty ratio is 16:1 while the acceptance rate is 72 percent. James Madison University fields 17 intercollegiate sports teams. They are participating in the Colonial Athletic Association of NCAA Division I. They call themselves the Dukes. James Madison University Women’s Volleyball Advanced Camp Organizers
Lauren Steinbrecher is the head coach of the James Madison University Dukes women’s volleyball team since January of 2010. She is a 2-time Virginia Sports Information Directors State Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Steinbrecher is also a 2-time Colonial Athletic Association Coach of the Year. Then, the team’s associate head coach is Casey Steinbrecher, Coach Lauren Steinbrecher’s husband. Wendel Camargo is the assistant coach and Colby Arrington is the volunteer assistant coach. Additionally, the team’s athletic trainer is Jill Wager and Robbie Ormsby is the strength and conditioning coach. The team manager is Chelsea Robinson. And finally, Terrence Apted is the academic advisor.
