Learn and enjoy at the Georgia State University Women’s Volleyball Individual Specialty Camp. It will be a two-session program on the 21st of July. It is inviting all female volleyball players in grade 8 and up. In addition, this training program will take place at Georgia State University’s top-notch facility, Sports Arena. The first session will start at 9:00 AM and end at 12:00 PM. While the second session will start at 1:30 PM and end at 4:30 PM. Furthermore, this program aims at developing the participants technical and tactical capabilities. Running this event is the Georgia State University women’s volleyball coaching staff.
Georgia State University, or just Georgia State, is a public, coeducational, research university in Atlanta, Georgia. It is the largest member of the University System of Georgia. The university comprises 10 colleges and schools. It is offering more than 250 degree programs and more than 30 associate degree programs. Currently, the university is serving around 25,200 undergraduate and 6,900 postgraduate students. This is with a 41 percent male and 59 percent female gender distribution and through a 59.6 acceptance rate. Georgia State is one of the nation’s best universities. As a matter of fact, it is 223rd in National Universities, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 8th in the Best Undergraduate Teaching rankings. In sports, the university is participating in the Sun Belt Conference of NCAA Division I. The athletes call themselves the Panthers while red, white, and blue are their colors.
Georgia State University Women’s Volleyball Individual Specialty Camp Organizers
Leading the Georgia State University Panthers women’s volleyball team since December of 2013 is Sally Polhamus, a native of Fort Wright, Kentucky. Coach Sally Polhamus is a master’s in educational administration graduate from Dayton University. Additionally, she is a Xavier Athletics Hall of Fame inductee. Then, the Panthers assistant coaches are Ashley Beyer and Taylor McColskey. Jacob Lonowski is the Panthers strength and conditioning coach. And finally, Amanda Hawkins is the athletic trainer.
