The Messiah College Women’s Volleyball Individual Skills Camp is for all girls in grade 9 up to grade 12. It is the ideal training program to strengthen volleyball skills in passing, setting, hitting and serving. It also covers basic and high-level team strategy concepts. Additionally, this skills camp will run from August 2 until August 5. Its venue is the leading-edge Eisenhower Campus Center at the Messiah College campus. Its typical daily schedule starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 9:30 PM for commuter campers and at 11:00 PM for overnight campers. Moreover, check-in starts at 5:00 PM on Day 1 while check-out will be at 3:00 PM on Day 4.
Messiah College, originally Messiah Bible School and Missionary Training Home, is a private, coeducational, Christian, liberal arts college in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Its founder is the Brethren in Christ Church also known as the River Brethren and River Mennonites. Currently, it is serving around 2,800 undergraduate students and around 500 postgraduate students. The undergraduate student population has a 39 percent male and 61 percent female students gender distribution. Furthermore, in the 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings, Messiah College is 4th in Regional Colleges North. It is also number one in the Best Colleges for Veterans category and number 3 in the Best Value Schools category. In addition, Messiah College’s intercollegiate athletic teams are competing in the Middle Atlantic Conferences of NCAA Division III. They are the Falcons and their official colors are navy blue and white.
Messiah College Women’s Volleyball Individual Skills Camp Organizers
Leading the Messiah College Falcons women’s volleyball team since 2016 is Head Coach Holly Motheral. She is the 2016 Middle Atlantic Conferences Commonwealth Coach of the Year. Coach Motheral is at the same time an assistant in the Falcons’ Athletic Communications office. Then, the Falcons graduate assistant coach is Lauren Bond. She is an American Volleyball Coaches Association Honorable Mention All-American awardee. Finally, the Falcons women’s volleyball head athletic trainer is Jeremy Kauffman.
